Dame's rocket (Hesperis matronalis L.)
Dame's rocket was originally brought in as an ornamental plant that has escaped and become invasive in Sublette County, specifically in Bondurant.
Dame's rocket has an aggressive root system and is a prolific seed producer, because of this it can produce large stands quickly. This plant is a short lived perennial growing up to 4 feet tall, it has alternate, lance shaped leaves with toothed margins. The flowers are purple to white with four petals.
